At Rest

My faithful companion and favourite subject dozing by my side as I work at the computer.

Saturday, May 29

Precipitation Gauge

Rainfall continues to be unusually high. The garden is slowly drowning as are the containers.

Feeling Crafty

Looking ahead a few season and making some cards for my lovely nieces.

Monday, May 24

Flowers at dusk

Kind of blurry and half-assed, I know.

Sudden Raing

A storm hit hard and heavy leaving us to wait it out before venturing inside the LBS.

The view from here

On my way home, I blew a tire. The jack was broken, so I had to wait by the side of the road for a tow truck.

Monday, May 17

Work Site

Did a little writing myself while I was at the retreat centre.

Sunday, May 16

Lumsden

I spent a few days on-site. A group of us went up to the top of the hill to watch the sunset.

Saturday, May 15

Garden Centre

A lot of the stuff has been looking fairly meh in the garden centres this year. I don't know if it was the stop and start spring or what.

Friday, May 14

Blossoms

I spotted the first of the pink blossoms today.

Thursday, May 13

More Spring

Tiny little leaf-lettes are just starting to emerge from the trees.

Wednesday, May 12

Dutch Elm on 6th Avenue

I fell in love with the shape of this tree.

Tuesday, May 11

Out House

I walk by here every day to work. Slightly to the west is the Anglican Cathedral. It makes me wonder how old this shed is. It looks like it may be 100 years or more. The shingles are wonderful. A few months ago, I remember looking through some real estate listings in town, and the listed the original stable as one of the features. I was expecting a mews type structure, but it actually looked more like this.

Monday, May 10

Stormy Sky

It looked like a storm was on its way, but the evening passed without incident.

Saturday, May 8

Doggy in the Window

This dog looked way to smart to be left unattended. I'm sure he worked out how to hot-wire the car and was last seen speeding across the bridge.

Friday, May 7

Road Stop

Spotted on Circle today. I'd guess the tractor is hauling too much weight.

Thursday, May 6

Snow Storm

I tried to take shot of the sleet and snow outside my window, but my lens got wet.

Wednesday, May 5

First Blossoms

When I first saw these from a distance, I thought they were snow left from last night's storm.

Tuesday, May 4
