Incident

Lots of fire trucks and other emergency vehicles when I left the office today. No signs of fire though.

Super Centre

Taken inside the newest Wal-Mart.

Yarn

When it grows up, it's going to be an afghan.

Friday, February 19

Ice

Heavy fog today, and not many other cars out.

Mug

My new favourite mug: I love the no-handle approach, although it does mean waiting to let the coffee cool down before drinking.

Fresh Snow

We had some lovely flaky light snow fall a few days ago. Is it the Inuit who have so many words for snow? I wonder what they'd call this specimen.

Dusk

The snow, when it first touches your skin, feels like it burns rather than freezes.

Monday, February 1

Grey Wool

Need to switch off, so I hauled out my knitting. My project is to make a felted bag to hold my knitting needles.

An early Valentine's treat.
