On Saturday, I went up to London on a whim. It was a bright and clear but windy, which was perfect for sightseeing. I went to see the Tim Gardiner exhibit at the
National . He is a young artist from Manitoba, currently based in BC, who's doing some amazing work. His pictures spoiled me for anything else in the gallery, so I went for a walk through St James Park. It was full of people, including two
Chelsea pensioners , identifiable by their scarlet coats. Everyone was stopping them for pictures, but I was too shy.
