I've been working in the office downstairs for a few hours, so it was a pleasant surprise to see the pinky sky when I came up for coffee. Now back downstairs. Sigh.

Broadway Bridge

The city was out this afternoon hanging Christmas decorations. While I know not everyone celebrates the holidays, I think it's nice that the city makes an effort every year. The weather has been crazy warm, so I'm sure no one on the cherry picker is complaining. Different story when there's a wind chill of -45.

Traffic Stopper

For reasons yet to be determined, my faithful Accord decided to conk out on me. Unfortunately, I was stopped at the busiest intersection on the east side. One of Saskaton's finest was kind enough to park behind me and wait until the tow truck showed up. A stressful moment, yes. But it could have been much worse.

Update: The cause has been determined and it's costly: the distributor needs to be replaced. Sigh.

I spotted this and thought of my brother. As a young boy, the sight of this probably would have rocked his world.

Craik Eco Centre

I had a meeting out this way and stopped to snap a picture of the dam. It is beautiful here, although it is strange that we haven't had any snow yet.

This slightly aged piece of fruit had me feeling Warhol-esque. Unfortunately, it proved quite difficult to take an interesting and technically competent photo of said fruit. Am tired. This is all I could muster for today.
