Local Wildlife

There is a feeder on the balcony, but the birds are very cautious. This is the best picture I've managed thus far. It would seem the Canon is not particularly well-suited to nature photography.

I thought I would see how well the camera worked in low light. Not great is the short answer. I will continue to experiment.

Dogs in Rain Togs

Fantastic! I have never seen two dogs look so foolish yet seem so comfortable. She must have trained them from birth.

Misty Morning

It was quite misty this morning when I woke up. The city was invisible and no one seemed to be out on the tow path. It's since burned off and promises to be a nice sunny day.

The First Day of November

I didn't have much time today to take pictures, but when I looked out my window, I noticed the birds were grazing very close to the back garden. If you look closely, one of the swans is being very lazy and sitting down to eat.
